Two separate Tyco Electronics business units were offering similar and competing parts is confusing both for our customers and for our own business. Therefore a range of part numbers that were previously offered by the Magnetics business will now be supported by the Passive Components business. In order to effect as smooth a transition as possible the Passive Components business are generating new Tyco Electronics part numbers (ordering code). The new part numbers will offer exactly the same product as before – the only change is in the Tyco Electronics part number. The main part numbers have been Cross referenced for you here. This webpage shows the current status of parts – please note that this list is not yet complete as we have prioritised on product that has been sold in the last 2 years.
